Step Up! for Down Syndrome

The community is invited to join in a 3km activity trail and walk around the River Torrens to celebrate Down syndrome awareness month.

With your free bag from the Central Market you will collect goodies along the way from Nippy’s, Bellis Fruit Bars, Port Power and the Adelaide Zoo as well as have a hit of cricket with the SACA.

Registered walkers get free access to a huge family fun day with activities for young and old:

  • Giant AFL inflatable’s; large specky mark, agility challenge, wall climb and kicking bins
  • Mini golf 9 holes
  • Mini train rides
  • Silent disco
  • Jumping castle
  • Petting zoo
  • Face painting
  • Balloon animals
  • Kindergym and ball pit
  • Craft
  • Loose parts nature play

With interactive performances from the SA Police Band and our very own Dance Down Performance Team there will be loads of entertainment.

As Down Syndrome SA’s major fundraising event for the year, we look forward to our community event to walk as one.

This is an event for all, bringing together families with Down syndrome and the wider community.

Early bird registration is now open. Click here to visit the Everyday Hero website and register.
